We don’t know exactly what JT sprinkled into this song but it won’t get out of our heads. The same probably applies to your girls, too. Song-wise, this is a tone-setter for the reception so if your girls can match the energy, everyone will know what time it is. Pro tip: if y’all are from the A, opt for the Jeezy remix.
“You Be Killin Em” by Fabolous
This song takes you back over a decade when life was still pure. This is a good song for a group walk-in where the girls are just bopping as they enter the reception. Nothing too dramatic, but a good time.
“Thick” by O.T. Genasis ft. 2 Chainz
You should pick this song for the following lyrics alone: “Dress fit right and it’s better when she pose”, “Beep-beep-beep, that’s a bad —– balling”, and “Good girl with a bad attitude.” And that was just being generous — this whole song is good.
“That’s My Girl” by Fifth Harmony
We would probably skedaddle on to the first part of the chorus, so this would be a great option for individual intros or a group introduction where they don’t have to walk too far to get into the point of the song where basically the subject was done wrong by someone who wasn’t worth a dang.
“My Friends” by Ty Dolla $ign, DJ Mustard, & Lil Durk
If you’re looking for a song that encapsulates how your friend group has been there for you through the years, through the thick and the thing — this is the one.
“Girls @” by Joey Purp ft. Chance The Rapper
This is an unconventional pick, but it has a house-like beat that could be a good one to select for summer weddings or lighthearted entrances.
“THIQUE” by Beyoncé
There are certain songs that are more about the energy the bridesmaids cumulatively provide to the bride. This isn’t a go-to bridesmaid entrance song by any means, but it could be the brides way of showing her love to King Bey and subliminally sharing the vibes she feels not only for the reception, but the wedding overall.
“PRETTY GIRLS” by Frenna
Sometimes, you want a good Afrobeats song for your girls. This Frenna bop accomplishes that.
“Independent” by Webbie, Boosie, & Lil Phat
Truthfully, selecting this song is the equivalent of then Vikings QB Kirk Cousins lobbing a deep ball on some “screw it, Justin Jefferson is down there somewhere.” If you have no idea what that means, basically, this is a great default option that’s going to work everytime. Especially if your bridal party is 30+ with a good job.
“Be Faithful” by Fatman Scoop, The Crooklyn Clan
First off, RIP to Fatman Scoop. Second, this is just a feel-good song all around. It’s also catchy, so picture your guests dancing and singing at their respective tables at the same time.
“My Dawg” by Lil Baby
This could be a good song to pick if you have the type of bridesmaids that truly were down for you through it all.
“Woman” by Doja Cat
Another Afrobeatsy song but probably more well-known than the Frenna song. We envision this would be a good, vibey song for group bridesmaid reception entrances.
“Na Na Na” by Lay Bankz
This song’s upbeat, playful rhythm and catchy chorus can create a fun, lighthearted vibe perfect for a lively entrance. Even if you don’t remember the Gwen Stefani sample, it encourages the bridesmaids to dance into the reception.
“Presha” by Lil Wayne & 2 Chainz
With the bold yet light beat, “Presha” brings an intentional energy to the bridesmaids’ entrance. This is a good song for a group entrance.
“Poke It Out” by Wale, J. Cole, & Cool & Dre
This track mixes smooth verses with an upbeat tempo, striking the perfect balance between chill and hype, honestly. The hook engages the crowd, while the beat suits both young and older audiences. Another great one for a group entrance.
“Spice Up Your Life” by Spice Girls
Millennial bridesmaids will enjoy this, especially if the bride-to-be loves pop music from yesteryear. This song has energy and easy choreo, so make them learn the dance so they can be appropro as they enter the reception.
“Get It Sexyy” by Sexyy Red
We aren’t sure how you feel about Sexyy Red, but she did her big one with this song. Let your bridesmaids do whatever dance they want with this song just to hype everyone up.
“Ayy Ladies” by Travis Porter ft. Tyga
This is another song for Millennial bridal parties. Honestly, any of the Travis Porter songs from the early 2010s will suffice for a bridesmaid reception.
“So Fine” by Howard Johnson
This song feels like velvet and vintage Kappa strolls. Don’t ask us how — but it’s a true oldie but goodie that doesn’t require your bridesmaids do too much but walk in the reception with a smile.
“Not Tonight” by Lil’ Kim, Angie Martinez, Da Brat, Left Eye, and Missy Elliott
You can never go wrong with a good throwback from the 90s and this song does that. One, you have five excellent women rappers on it. Two, if one of your bridesmaids dances like Mary J did in the video, y’all won.
“Where Them Girls At” by Megan Thee Stallion
Another tonesetting song that lets the wedding guests know that this reception is about to have you on your feet all night. How the bridesmaids come out to this song will be the energy that’ll have to be matched at minimum.
“Bridesmaids” by Kylie Morgan
This song is more sentimental and obvious than anything else. But, sometimes you don’t need a song that feels like the club. You just need something that shows everyone how much these girls mean to you. This could do that.
“Who’s That Girl?” by Eve
Pull out this song from 2001 and we are sure that not only will your bridesmaids have a good time entering the reception on that but also everyone will be singing along.
“Girls All Around The World” by Greg Street, Lloyd, and Lil Wayne
Now, this song is a deep cut. Not everyone knows this song and those that do might not have heard it in a few years. But it’s lighthearted and the sample breathes nostalgia so everyone, guests included, will enjoy it.
“Donk” by Soulja Boy
This song is always a good one to get out of the way while foreshadowing to the best song from the ’99 and the ’00. It has enough BPM to do a little bop into the reception. Also, it’s mild enough where your older guests won’t feel offended. A win/win!
